HIDIVE: Discoverability Case Study
The HIDIVE app provides users the ability to stream a selective list of anime titles provided by categories and genre. Participants of this case study were inquired to relay insights from the usability testing to construct practical considerations/recommendations to improve the overall user experience. As a result, I provided design standards for a high-fidelity prototype of a reimagined version of an improved HIDIVE app.
Deliverables
• Card-Sorting & Usability Testing

• Low & Mid Fidelity Prototypes

• Branding Kit & Style Guide
• The Final Product
Key Takeaways
• Consistency is key (i.e. titles placed in applicable categories across different views).
• Take consideration and show empathy to audience members that are not within the target demographics (i.e. extraneous category titles displayed on main view)
• Reasonings behind the interface assets should be intentional & intuitive (i.e. indicator for swipe feature).
